The place is a bit off the beaten path, which was just what we needed after a week in Tokyo. We were surrounded by rice fields and we were really close to Lake Biwa. The nature is just incredible over there and the place was perfect to relax and resource ourselves before continuing on our journey. The house was everything you could expect from a traditional Japanese home and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. The language barrier didn't hinder communication thanks to Google translate! The kids had an amazing time sleeping on the futon beds and playing retro games ;-) We had our little place upstairs, but the hosts were always available if we had any questions.

We liked everything! From the house, the surroundings, the hot bath ready for us. We would go back in a heartbeat if we could!

ご夫婦の優しいお人柄や温かみのある日本家屋の落ち着いた雰囲気に心からくつろぐことができ、とても満足です。駅から少し歩きますが、事前に依頼すれば駅まで迎えに来てもらえるとのこと。帰りは駅まで送りますとご提案くださり、とても助かりました。久しぶりの畳に布団でしたが、マットレスも用意くださったので、背中が痛むこともなく、ぐっすり眠れました。外国人の友人もこんな素敵な和風の家に泊まったのは初めて、と大満足でした。 本当にありがとうございました。

１日１組ということで、かなりのんびり広々と過ごせました。アレクサやWi-Fi、テレビ、冷蔵庫、洗濯機があり、何不自由なく、快適に過ごせました。 建物は、昔ながらの日本家屋で大変趣があり、所々に生けてある花が美しく、落ち着いた雰囲気です。 近くには田んぼ、神社、小川、山々が望めて、都心を離れて自然に癒やされる場所でした。 女将さん、ご家族は大変親切で、温かい雰囲気の中、過ごせました。 女性の１人旅でも安心して過ごせます！

We hadden veel privacy en veel ruimte om heerlijk te ontspannen. Het bad was bij aankomst al gevuld met heet water en we werden heel goed verzorgd met een lekker ontbijt.
