A bit far from any restaurants. There is a free shuttle bus to the Station although it didn’t run very late, which necessitated a taxi home.

Location on the lake fantastic, breakfast and dinner buffet great, al a carte was fantastic.
Tattoo policy on onsen is a bit silly. Would not apply in any other country. As far as I know foreign tourists are not yakuza.

Location was great
Don’t have bottled water and don’t have tissue on the living room and TV was very outdated, toilet positioning behind the door was weird.
