Hôtel du Plat d'Etain

Jimmy was amazing and most accommodating. He supplied up with maps and orientation to the major attractions and offered assistance with many things to make our stay pleasant and easy. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable with lift access upstairs which helped with luggage. The breakfast was wonderful and great value. The area was vibrant and interesting and the hotel close to the metro and only a reasonable uber/cab ride from all major attractions. It is close enough to walk for those who enjoy walking the streets, as we did on our first evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

There was a problem with the airport transfer we booked through reception. The driver refused to park near the hotel due to the one way streets. In the end we cancelled the service and booked an Uber at the last minute which was very frustrating and a disappointing end to an otherwise great stay.

Perfect cozy hotel! The room was super clean. Great shower. Bad and pillow were extremely comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and had many choices. But above all are the extremely welcoming, helpful and professional staff! They are the heart of this hotel! This is definitely my hotel for next visits in Paris.

The staff was excellent. Emailed before we got there. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast and a great price for a hotel. Bathroom was spotless. Had air conditioning ( we were there during heat wave). Close to 3 metro lines so easy to get around.

My only complaint was the ice machine. They only had 2 small ones and most of the time they were empty. It only mattered because it was so hot it would have been nice to put in our water bottles. Also would have liked double glazed windows. Most nights weren’t too noisy but weekends were a bit.
