Casamea -T2, Balcon, Clim, Parking, Ajaccio

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The interior design is beautiful and the whole place feels very cozy and comfortable. The host welcomed us personally upon arrival, helped with our luggage, showed us around the apartment and explained everything we needed to know. He was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, with plenty of dishes and everything you might need for cooking. All the appliances worked perfectly, including the washing machine, oven and stove and the refrigerator was very convenient as well. We especially enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well and the apartment was quiet at night, which made our stay relaxing and calm. We also appreciated all the thoughtful details. Upon arrival, there were small welcome sets with a laundry detergent capsule and dishwashing liquid, as well as shower gel and shampoo. There were plenty of clothes hangers, a good ironing board and iron and a vacuum cleaner and mop, which made it very easy to keep the apartment clean during our stay. It was also a nice touch to have a beach umbrella and a mat available for guests. Unfortunately, the umbrella was damaged and broke because of the weather conditions during our stay, but we really appreciated having this beach equipment provided.

A few things could be improved for future guests: On arrival, the floor had not been vacuumed or washed, but the host quickly arranged cleaning. The balconies, bathroom grout, toothbrush holder and cutlery could also be cleaned more thoroughly. Some towels had bleach stains. The bedroom wardrobe door is very difficult and noisy to open. The remote/key used to open the entrance barrier was wrapped in old tape and was almost falling apart in our hands. It still worked, but replacing or repairing it properly would definitely improve the overall impression. The lift did not work once during our stay. Only 4 clothes pegs were provided, which was not enough for towels and swimwear. We bought our own frying stainless steel pan, because the apartment only had Teflon cookware, baking paper, toilet paper and hand soap. Only one toilet roll was provided as a “starter set” for a one-week stay. A bath mat would also be useful. The plastic bar chairs in the kitchen are quite uncomfortable. The provided coffee capsules were not to our taste, so we bought our own. There were also several empty electronics boxes stored in the cupboards, taking up useful storage space. The nearby Plage d’Asprettu was very shallow and not particularly clean. If you have a car, we would personally recommend driving around 5–10 minutes further to beaches such as Plage du Ricanto, Plage de Capitello, or exploring the beaches further south. We enjoyed those areas much more. Overall, the apartment has great potential, but more attention to cleanliness, maintenance and basic supplies would make the stay much better.

De omgeving van het appartement is iets verder van de restaurants en bezienswaardigheden (1,5 km) De entree is gedateerd maar het appartement zelf is dan echt een verrassing

Very beautiful and modern apartment with own parking space and two balconies. The location is amazing (close to the port, train station and city center). The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you need. The host Jérémy was always available via the booking.com chat and provided us with detailed instructions for the self-check-in at our arrival, which was very easy and confortable. The neighbours are also very friendly and nice. We had a fantastic stay and will definately come back to this apartment if we are again in Ajaccio :)

Het van binnen gemoderniseerde appartement was prima. Maar het betrof hier een totaal verouderd gebouw met schandalig veel betonrot en compleet in verouderde staat vwb de gemeenschappelijke ruimten en trappenhallen. Achterstallig onderhoud van jaren aan de buitenzijde. Ook de parkeergelegenheid op gras en gravel oogt niet verzorgd. Het complex is gelegen in een buurt uit de 50-60 tiger jaren in een sociaal zwakkere wijk. Voor ons een tegenvaller en dat wordt bij de boeking ook niet aangegeven. Ik zou dit app niet aanbevelen aan een derde.Personeel heb ik niet gezien. Alleen via de telefoon of app/mail is in het Frans niet eenvoudig is ook voor de slagboom bij het parkeer terrein waarvoor wij geen tack hadden. Beetje rommelig en echt op z n Frans.
