This large house sits right on Lake Cumberland and has incredible views of the water and surrounding mountains. Take in the scenery through picture windows throughout the house or from any of the three levels of decks. Private, gated community and on a street with only six other houses.

There are four private bedrooms plus sleeping quarters on the lower level and a pull out sofa in the upstairs loft. 5 and 1/2 baths, screened in porch, covered front porch, and three levels of decks. Home features a fully equipped kitchen, 6-person hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, four tvs, high speed internet, gas grill, and laundry room. The private community includes three swimming pools, tennis court, boat ramp, walking trails, gift shop, walking trails, and many weekend events planned for guests. We had stayed there in the past but under previous owners. The new owners have made many excellent changes. I can't think of anything that this Vrbo rental doesn't have. Very clean. All guests were completely satisfied & loved the place, which is huge because there is always that one!!! Owners are very accommodating & quick to respond to any requests or needs before & during stay.....HIGHLY RECOMMEND & WILL STAY THERE AGAIN WITH FAMILY

The site provided all the pictures and info needed to make this choice. The house was perfect and large enough to house everyone for the reunion. There were games and activities in the house for all ages. The house was very clean and had everything needed to make a huge dinner. The view was great!

The home is large and enjoyable. The pool table and ping pong table received hours of use (and our family is not a "pool" family). The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for 10. The location is quiet and peaceful. We used the home as our vacation hub and took advantage of its location to plan daily activities. Our three big ones were hiking at Cumberland State Park, visiting the Ark Encounter and renting a pontoon from a nearby marina for a day. It was easy to get to Somerset for any grocery shopping we needed to do. The putt putt course in Somerset was a blast!There is no yard/green space for outdoor play at the home - just be aware. There is, however, plenty of parking - we had 4 vehicles there all week and had no issues. We had no cell service but the Wi-Fi easily handled all our needs, including 2 working remotely during our stay.We used the pools and tennis courts daily! We had just a few questions during our stay and Gwen answered our texts within moments.The home (interior and furnishings) itself is worn. The owners have made updates, but many more are needed. Most glaring were that none of the doors, except the front door, locked. There were broomsticks to wedge into the sliding doors to secure them, which did not make us feel safe. The front door latch is extremely temperamental and is in the twilight of its lifespan. Once that latch fails it will be impossible to enter the home from the outside.
