Athens Studio is a cosy and modern apartment, recently totaly renovated (2019). It is only 3 min from Metaxourgeio metro station, 5 min from the National Archaeological Museum, 10min from Larissis Train Station and 15min walk from the historical center. The studio is ideal for single traveller and couples.

The studio apartment itself is perfect for a short stay, especially if you’re planning to be out all day, it’s got everything you might need. Communication with the manager was great via WhatsApp, on first morning I realised the hairdryer didn’t work and it was replaced with a new one within half an hour. It can’t be helped but the area is rough to put it mildly, I didn’t feel exactly unsafe but you do need to be careful not to step into a syringe or other things left by drug addicts on the pavement. You’re only 15 minutes walk away from Psyrri/Plaka though and the metro is close so it’s a good base for sightseeing.
