____A 20km south of Tours, the cottage is ideally located for visits around the castles of Chenonceaux! Azay the curtain! The city of Loches! Parc Zoo de Beauval and the castle of Villandry and its garden among many others........ not to mention the most beautiful villages in France! Documentation, books, photos and maps await you in the cottage and the owners of Touraine will also be able to advise you.

My wife son, and I had the incredible pleasure of staying at this lovely home for three nights. We have stayed in many VRBO and Airbnb in the past, and this was by far our favorite. In part due to Odile’s hospitality. She had taken care of even the smallest details like ensuring Netflix was changed to English in case we wanted to watch something when we came home at night.France was in the midst of a heat wave when we arrived, and while there is no air conditioning in this space, between nighttime dips in the beautiful swimming pool and numerous fans, we stayed comfortable.This is the perfect space for those looking to get away and be in the quiet of the country. The closest “town” (which consisted solely of of a pharmacy in bakery) was a 5 minute drive - while grocery store etc was closer to 20 minutes away. So you will need to grab your baguettes, stinky cheese and wine and bring them with you!
