Το κατάλυμα ήταν όπως ακριβώς απεικονίζεται στις φωτογραφίες! Η οικοδέσποινα ήταν εξαιρετική. Είχε φροντίσει για μια ζεστή και όμορφη υποδοχή!!Την ευχαριστούμε πολύ για το earlier check in! Πολύ σημαντικό - το κατάλυμα είχε ζεστό νερό όλο το 24ωρο και οι παροχές του σπιτιού ξεπερνούσαν τις προσδοκίες! Σίγουρα θα το προτιμήσουμε την επόμενη φορά που θα έρθουμε στη Σύρο!

The owner of the apartment was great! Really helpful providing useful information regarding the island, restaurants, etc. Showed great help and flexibility for check-in and check-out as we had a baby with us. Great hospitability! Definitely will recommend it to anyone who visits Syros.

The brand-new apartment was clean, well-equipped, and is in a quiet part of town but still within walking distance to the center. The hosts were very quick to respond to our concerns and we appreciate the thoughtful gestures such as providing drinks and local delicacies and ensuring we had a great stay.

The apartment is pretty spacious, nicely decorated and has a usable kitchen with a standard size fridge, stove, oven and microwave, as well as basic kitchen utensils, pots and pans. The living room is equipped with a smart TV (although it did lose internet connection and had to be setup again once) and wifi is pretty reliable. Air conditioning is very good and the apartment was consistently cool during our stay. The host was available whenever we had any questions and even let us stay for an additional hour after the checkout time, as we would be departing much later that day.

The apartment is located in a pretty remote spot, away from the center of Ermoupolis and barely within walking distance (25' from the port, also the road is not very well-lit and has quite a lot of traffic). While not the host's fault, mobile reception is non-existent. Additionally, it's located in a relatively old building, the front door of which was never closed or locked while we were there and there's no light in the staircase or ground floor. As far as view is concerned, there was none (street view in the front, piles of rubble in the back). Privacy is also a bit of an issue, as neighboring buildings look right into the living room and bedroom and you have to close the curtains pretty much half of the day blocking out all the light, while there's no soundproofing to speak of at all (we could hear the apartment next door and upstairs neighbours performing construction work some mornings and we had trouble sleeping a couple of nights when it was windy outside). There was no cleaning (not even a change of towels) even though we stayed for a full week and bath and cleaning supplies were very few, too. We also found a piece of underwear behind the couch (possibly from a previous visitor?). Even though there's a washing machine, there was nothing to wash our clothes with and the same pattern applied to the kitchen which didn't have salt and pepper or a roll of paper. None of this is the definition of "luxury" and the asking price is certainly above what it should be for what is on offer here.
