A beautiful house, in need of some updating, but the charm is real. The bathroom is modern and functions well, the kitchen is functional. We housed 6 adults happily, although there was a queue for the bathroom at times. The third bedroom is curtained off, which is awkward, but ok. We paid 60Euros for bedding which was odd and old and left at the end of each bed, we think they hosts could have made the beds at least. It is situated quite a way from anything, which is nice! I think it could benefit from some written information about the history of the house and the local area. The host spoke some English, again a write up on expectations would be easier to translate, the lady who came to take the 'cleaning' money was not the most pleasant, I understand the language barriers, but again get it written down so we can translate. We did not know what to do with the rubbish / recycling, although we had to pay the host 60euros for cleaning, we were told to take the bins to the nearest town! you will need dishwasher tablets and cleaning products as there was less than minimal in the house. We arrived with 6 guests and found half a loo roll, all this should be communicated before you arrive, as popping out after a long journey was not pleasant. Apart from these niggles, we loved it! the private pool was great and always kept clean, the area was private and the house had lots of character. So add on 120euros and expect to buy basic cleaning products.

Langs allerlei prachtige, kleine landweggetjes kwamen we bij het huis van de eigenaren. De dochter reed voor ons uit naar de woning en heeft een rondleiding gegeven.

De ontvangst was goed, rondleiding gehad door de eigenaresse en er werd niet moeilijk gedaan betreffende de borg, ik had geen cash geld bij me. Het huis is prachtig van buiten, van binnen gedateerd en kleiner als gedacht (1 verdieping). De keuken is erg klein maar alles is aanwezig en werkt. De WiFi is waardeloos, deze valt telkens weg (als de koelkast aangaat bijvoorbeeld) en heeft slecht bereik, de tv is klein. De douche en het toilet (modern en netjes) zijn alleen bereikbaar via de slaapkamer met de 2 losse bedden. Dit is erg storend als er mensen slapen, de enige afscheiding is namelijk een gordijntje waardoor een soort halletje ontstaat. De bedden zijn hard, maar verder prima. Mooie tuin, goed en groot zwembad. De ligging van het huis is erg mooi met mooi uitzicht op de omliggende velden. We hebben enkele wilde dieren gezien, maar schrik niet als er opeens jagers rondom het huis staan. De weg langs het huis is niet erg rustig en er word soms zeer hard gereden. Verder is de streek prachtig en er is meer dan voldoende te zien en te doen.
