Welcome home to Maison de Marie, a North Tybee vacation home that welcomes you to Tybee Island with a picket fence around your vacation hideaway. Perfect for entertaining the whole family, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom home offers beautiful sunset and marsh views and plenty of outdoor spaces for entertaining everyone. Enjoy the beautiful Tybee weather with a relaxing screened porch, a beautiful pool, and a private gazebo.
The home features two complete living spaces, making this home a great option for extended families or groups looking for a bit of added privacy. The upstairs main level boasts a great screened-in porch complete with a sectional sofa and a swing bed for enjoying the fresh air all year. Once inside the upstairs space, guests are met with a large open living and kitchen area. The Kitchen is fully equipped and includes all you need for vacation meal planning, including a crockpot for guest use. The living area has 2 generous-sized sofas and a giant Smart TV for movies and entertainment. The dining area seats up to 6 at the table, and there are 3 counter stools at the built-in bar.
There are two bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a King size bed, a Smart TV, and an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen and a king-size bed for up to 4 guests. A second bathroom is shared with a walk-in shower and a washer and dryer adjoining the first bathroom.
Downstairs, the second living space also has 2 bedrooms, a living area, and full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The living room has a sleeper sofa with a large flat-screen TV. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and a TV; the second bedroom is set up as an office space - perfect for distance learning and working. There is a futon sofa as a flexible bedding option. The full bathroom also has a walk-in shower - and a second washer and dryer for guest use.
There is something for everyone in the garage game room, with a ping pong table and a foosball table. Guests can open the garage bay door to bring the outdoors in, with the adjoining patio with a gas grill and table for 6. The outdoor patio and pool area are perfect for lounging in the sun with a cold beverage. Have a picnic lunch in the screened gazebo to round out the afternoon. Bring Your furry family members; this home is pet-friendly and has plenty of room to roam in the fenced yard on both sides of the house.
This home is conveniently located about just 2 blocks away from Tybee Oaks, home to great local artisan shops, Tybee's famous Huc-A-Poo's Bites and Booze, and a great local coffee shop, Tybean. The nearest walking beach access is at the end of Bay and Polk Streets. Public beach access is located near North Beach, about 1 mile away with a large pay-to-park parking area. Check out the Marine Science Center and the Tybee Island Lighthouse, both nearby the beach access.

The property was as described/pictured and we found the layout to work well for our family. The first and second floor do not share any interior connections. We also enjoyed how close the beach was, there are not any waves on the north beach but it was never crowded and the sand was fine. It was nice to have a large living room and dining room with a table that could seat eight or more, we never felt cramped at this property. The pool and property do back up to the main road but there is a privacy fence and the traffic was a nice white noise while we were enjoying the pool. We did not notice any traffic noise while inside. We appreciated the automated check in which notified us our property was ready a little earlier than scheduled check in. We would stay here again!

We paid double the price for the spring break week. However, the outside spring clean up had not been done. Power washing and sweeping was needed on all outside porches. The pool was lovely. However, the screen pool house was filthy, we could not use it. The pool filter was clogged and filled to the max. Very disappointing. The house itself is nice and fine for a family vacation. The location close to the road was noisy. That could have been overlooked if the power washing had been done and the porches were clean. The way the house was advertised was misleading. It’s actually two separate apartments. Only 3 bedrooms between the two apartments, and one office space with a futon. All the rooms on both levels connect with doors in one circular pattern; no privacy. Upstairs and downstairs do not connect except by going outside. Not ideal if you have young children. Lots of potential here! But, if you’re going to charge top holiday prices, the amenities need to be in top condition. The “beach” is actually river beach not Atlantic Ocean beach. This should be clearly specified as well.
