The apartment, in itself, is great. Clean, comfortable, and centrally located, close to the subway, tramway, and buses. The Obor market is right there, and the Veranda mall is also really close. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, modern appliances, and a balcony. The bed is also very comfortable, and there is ample storage. However, I experienced two major problems during my stay: lack of hot water and constant construction noise in the building, even at night. Without these problems, this would have been a five-star apartment.

I want to emphasize that I have been in constant communication with the host for the entire duration of my stay, so this review should come as no surprise. I also want to mention that the host offered me a discount for the inconvenience, which I gracefully accepted, and I am currently waiting to receive the refund. I reported the lack of hot water and the construction noise occurring during the night promptly to the host. The host was very responsive and accommodating, however, she informed me that none of this was under her control and, therefore, there was nothing she could do. While this was somewhat reasonable and I made every effort to be patient and understanding, it was completely out of my control, as well, and it seems unfair to me that I was unable to take a shower or enjoy a good night’s sleep for the entire duration of my stay. This apartment should not have been on the market while these problems were going on. If the host had done her due diligence beforehand and had become aware that the hot water was shut off and that there were multiple construction sites in the building, all this could have been prevented. This is, unfortunately, the reason why I cannot give this apartment the high rating it would have deserved had it not been for the significant disruptions.
