Summary:
[NOTE: The main rooftop is currently closed for renovations and is slated to reopen in Spring/Summer 2026. The 2nd rooftop remains open and available to use, including the pool which typically opens around Memorial Day].
Stunning 1,400+ square foot penthouse apartment on the top floor with 13 foot tall ceilings, oversize windows, and panoramic city views in multiple directions. This bright and airy three bedroom, two bathroom space is perfect for travelers looking for a memorable escape in the sky in the heart of downtown Chicago. The penthouse is adjacent to the building's amazing rooftop terrace with 360 degree views of the skyline and lake. This is the best location in the city!
The Space:
Located in a secure, high-end building in the center of Chicago! Once inside, you're greeted by a light-filled space with oversize windows overlooking the city skyline. The views during the day are fantastic - but it's even more magical at night! Right out the window, you'll see a unique scene of diverse and famous Chicago architecture with the bustling city below.
Interior design is a passion of ours and the chic furnishing of the unit reflects that! There is fast internet, a smart TV with Roku, and comfortable modern furniture to lounge on.
The kitchen and living room are open and very spacious. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and all the tools you need to cook a great meal. We have 4 counter stools for the granite kitchen island. Plenty of room to dine comfortably or to use as a workspace.
For each guest, the comfortable beds have crisp, clean linens and the bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and bath products. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet along with a massive closet in a second bedroom. Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Full bed
Living Room: Queen sofa bed
We also provide towels, detergent, iron, etc. and you have full access to the in-unit washer and dryer.
The building has a 24 hour doorman and great amenities including a movie theater, gym, outdoor pool, rooftop "sky lounge" with grilling stations, and a year-round rooftop terrace with sun beds and lounge seating as well as an indoor area that can be enjoyed during colder weather. The panoramic city and lake views from the rooftop are truly awesome!
Guest Access:
You'll have complete and private access to our penthouse. You will also have access to all of the building's shared amenities (rooftop deck, gym, etc).
The Neighborhood:
The Loop is the heart of Chicago and the most central location in the entire city! You are surrounded by world-class architecture, shopping, theaters, parks, and other sites. From our place you can quickly walk to Millennium Park, the lakefront, the Chicago River, the Magnificent Mile, the Art Institute, and so much more. The Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and Soldier Field are just a 5 minute ride. Oak Street for luxury shopping and the West Loop restaurant row for world class dining are only 5 minutes away as well!
Getting Around:
Our place is surrounded by trains and buses that will take you anywhere in the city you want to go! Uber and Lyft is also available 24/7. You'll have no trouble getting around without a car.
Parking is not included with our listing, but there are many nearby parking garages close to our building (within a couple blocks). We also suggest using SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book discounted parking. You can usually find reasonable overnight parking for $15 to $25.
Other Things to Note:
Dogs allowed only with prior approval. Please inquire about breed restrictions. 35 pound weight limit. $35/night per pet fee applies. Unauthorized pets will incur a $500 fee.

Absolutely wonderful location. Communication with Host is great—super responsive and easy to work with. We have stayed at this property for the last 4 years on our annual Chicago shopping trip. I have always given it 5 stars, but reduced to 4 stars this year due to: 1) the temperature in the apartment was extremely cold. Once we finally found space heaters in the closet, we were able to raise the temp to a live-able level. 2) the water in the showers also does not get very warm 3) while very clean, the apartment is starting to look worn 4) the price of the apartment has risen quite ALOT over the time period of our rentals. We will likely keep coming back because the location is GREAT and we’ll just hope for warmer temps in Chicago.

Good communication and excellent location. Amenities were sparce. 1 dishtowel, one small S/P, no spatula to turn eggs (but 4 wisks). No cleaning supplies to wipe down counters. Coffee pot needed a significant cleaning.

Family of 4 and Grandparents stayed while celebrating a special 80th birthday- but the master bath/shower never got hot water- despite maintenance said they ‘fixed’ it. The apartment itself was clean and kept however the shared areas looked very run down and NOT lux as described. Foyer was tacky, the rooftop garden area closed for repairs, scaffolding on the front exterior was an eyesore.
