Tunis Palace - Fayoum

authentic villa air conditioning in bedrooms well kept garden rooftop was a great place to hang out in the evening

a little expensive

the property is so beautiful. it is a spacious property conveniently located close to most of the attractions

the property does not have enough crockery or cutlery. it is so sad because it would make the stays superb. we bought some plastic glasses because there was none which we ended up leaving for future guests to use. it is a shame that the owners don’t approach a local pottery gallery to make plates, cups, and bowls to showcase the area as well as provide the convenience of not having to serve a salad in a pot.

The house is big, new and quite comfortable. There are 5 rooms and each one has its own bathroom. The small garden and the pool are pleasant areas. The breakfast is fine (two options, sweet with cheese and honey and salt with omelette and beans). Walking distance from the nice pottery shops.

The kitchen is not really comfortable (it has no window, and some water was coming out from the floor) - we used it only to boil some water for coffee, not for cooking. There is not a living room with a big table to sit and have lunch. The breakfast does not include anything to drink (no tea and no coffee). In each bathroom there is only one towel (so you need to bring some more from home). Note that the speaker of the mosque is really really close. Nothing that the property can change but surely something to be aware of.

Is a great spacious building with nice grounds and pool.

Although it was a villa to accommodate 10 people it was equipped with some basic stuff to be comfortable. (bathrooms just had hand soap and not every shower had hot water, towels for 3 people, not 10, Kitchen didn't have basic dish soap or even a cloth for wiping up and/or paper towel) The general cleanliness was not good. The kitchen especially was dirty. The bedding did not look or feel clean.
