Comfortable stay and clean hotel

After couple of days in India we needed to finally have European standard accommodation, so we chose this Hotel. The price is as three times more expensive as you can get in other apartments in Chandigarh, and the difference is obvious. So if you need functional warm head-shower with strong stream all night long, comfy bed, bed side lamps and other decoration room lights, and of course a clean place, and you don’t mind spending circa 50e per night, go for it. Since we travelled in January, we finally had our first centrally heated hotel after using small, plastic fan-based noisy heaters in other places. We also chose this place because it’s close to the airport. In the close vicinity there are nice restaurants as well as liquor store (like 3-5 minutes by walk), what is rather exception in India. Hotel is located in the new quarter of the city with other hotels and shops, surprisingly European ones like Pizza hut etc. But there is nothing more to see but the busy 4 line road. So as for the location, do choose it only because of the airport. However, in Chandigarh you always need to take taxi, so it does not really matter.

The price could have been slightly cheaper, and if you are really accustomed to European standard cleanliness, you could be disappointed a bit. New wall paint would be welcomed for instance.
