About this house rental
Set in nearly a hectare of gardens, the nineteenth-century stone building, La Pairiere, a beautifully renovated 6-bedroom house, now blending modern amenities with old-world charm.
Spend long summer evenings enjoying a glass of wine in the courtyard, take bike rides along the Mayenne River stopping to enjoy wonderful pancakes in Grez Neuville or simply take some time to relax in the tranquil surroundings of the property taking in some of the most beautiful scenery in the French countryside.
The accommodation
La Pairiere has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, family kitchen and formal living and dining areas spread over 300 square metres, La Pairiere is the perfect place for a large family or groups of families and friends to enjoy a memorable holiday. Tastefully decorated using products hand-selected by the owner/designer, La Pairiere will take you on an unforgettable journey. Huge exposed oak beams adorn the ceilings, with the Superior Bedrooms offering a huge 5m central pitch. Original paved entrance, open fireplace for the winter months and alfresco dining and above-ground swimming pool on your doorstep during the summer are just a taste of what awaits you.
Other remarks
Please note that during the colder months, when central heating is required, this is an additional charge for guests of 35 euros per day, and paid at the end of the stay.
During the summer months, when the pool is open, don't forget to bring your own beach towels.
La Pairiere has a tutor on site who lives in a small house with his family. The house is next door, but oriented away from the main house, and the tutor and his family are very discreet.
Deposit and options:
A deposit of 1000 € for the rental and a deposit of 150 € for cleaning/selective sorting will be requested at the entrance of the premises, cheques not cashed without reason. Cleaning is included in the rental price, but the house must be left in a correct condition.
Central heating at an additional cost (35 euros per day)
Heat pump (when the pool is open) at an additional cost (20 euros per day)
Sheets and dish towels are included, towels and swimming pool must be brought.
For weekends the departure can be postponed to 4pm unless we have another reservation on the same day.
The pool is overt from May to September if the weather permits.

Le gîte est très bien aménagé et très agréable.
Il nous manquait juste un peu de soleil pour profiter de la piscine qui est un peu éloignée de la maison.
Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de container pour les différentes ordures sur le site, il faut les déposer au village et en moto ce n'est pas le top.

Séjour de 4 jours pour fêter le nouvel an entre famille et amis : 11 personnes
Excellent gîte, chambres confortables et salles de bain et wc adaptés au nombre de personnes. La cuisine est toute neuve et très bien équipée, seul
petit bémol la table pour les déjeuners et dîner est une table de 10 couverts …
Autre petite problématique mais qui n’est pas du fait du gestionnaire : difficulté à trouver un container pour déposer les ordures ménagères.
La location est très propre et joliment décorée. Un grand plus pour la souplesse de Jacqueline dans la gestion des horaires de remise et de restitution des clés, et un grand merci pour sa disponibilité.
