About this cabin rental
The house is split into two beautiful mirror image apartments at ground level with separate entrances, both of which are used for guest stays. (Booked separately.) Each apartment has an open living area and kitchen, a full bathroom, a bedroom, and a large loft space which doubles as a second bedroom and also includes an Ikea desk for remote work. This suite includes a washer and drier unit, the other suite does not. There is WiFi throughout the house, including on the porch.
Guests are welcome to explore the land. There are mowed paths around the meadows, and a wildlife pond near the house.
The covered porch is huge, overlooks the pony pasture, and faces east. Early risers can drink their coffee while taking in the sunrise over the distant hills.
I am available on the premises if guests have any questions or need anything during their stay
Location is also home to a nonprofit animal sanctuary - guests may meet our two ponies and chickens, and learn more if interested.

Such a hospitable host! And such a beautiful cabin in the woods. Loved the ease of the whole thing. They even shoveled snow from my driveway and walkway so that I could get out easier. They also loaded up my bags into my car because of the snow. Such a great experience!

Luca’s home was warm, comfortable, cozy and clean. My family and I stayed for 2 nights and Luca went above and beyond to show us around and accommodate our needs. My kids loved meeting all the animals and learning so much about them and their environment. I would highly recommend her home to anyone. We’ll be back when we’re back in Owego. Would love to explore her property during other seasons.

The location is amazing and as described. However, upon arrival hours past check-in the host didn't know I was coming and had yet to provide check-in info. Luca, the host, said she needed 15 minutes to ready things in addition to the "uh, who are you?" greeting. During my stay there were multiple impolite interactions. My favorite was that I needed to drive to town to get dry firewood to run the only source of heat, the wood stove.
