Seaside Escape

Excellent location, away from the main strip but still easily accessible. Unit was lovely for 2 people. Very comfy and private, had all the amenities for a short stay. Modern and clean fitout, not one of those old tired places that smelled dusty with aged furniture. If taking kids there is a separate bedroom for them downstairs that allows some privacy for both. Auto garage for a car is useful too. Walk to the beaches.

Booked the apartment online and had no problem with the non refundable payment as it was advised up front. But after confirming and paying, received emails from a third party requiring sign up to another portal before the key would be provided. This portal required uploading of face id and pics of a credit card, and the key details would be provided once staff had verified these. This was extremely not cool - I do NOT want to be uploading personal and financial information to a 3rd party AFTER I have already booked. When I replied to the booking emails to query this I received nothing in return. I decided to upload a credit card picture with incorrect details, and received an email that this had been accepted. Clearly it was not checked as they advised. Which makes me think it is at best a data gathering exercise, as opposed to providing the advertised service to the owners. I would have cancelled the booking if possible - but that is not a reflection on the property or the owners. For future Booking.com visits I'll be preferencing stays with a cancellation option.

Property was in a great location that was nice and quiet. Property was clean and comfortable.

Our Hilux (family vehicle) didn’t fit in the garage properly.

L'emplacement était parfait et nous avons pu bien en profiter. L'appartement était très agréable et on y a trouvé un confort optimal. Les enfants avaient leur propre chambre avec des lits jumeaux très confortables. Le petit espace extérieur avec le barbecue est très mignon. Nous avons eu l'occasion de rencontrer le propriétaire qui était très gentil. The location was perfect and we were able to enjoy it. The apartment was very nice and we found it to be very comfortable. The children had their own room with very comfortable twin beds. The small outdoor area with the barbecue is very cute. We had the opportunity to meet the owner who was very nice.

Il manque une plaque de cuisson dans la petite cuisine. Le barbecue est très bien mais s'il pleut nous ne pouvons pas l'utiliser. Il y a un bip constant dans le garage qui s'entend fortement dans la chambre des enfants. The small kitchen is missing a hotplate. The barbecue is very good but if it rains we can't use it. There is a constant beeping in the garage that is loudly heard in the children's room.

It was clean and quiet

I booked non-refundable and then discovered a long list of terms of conditions from the property agent. I was also asked to upload credit card details. The BBQ area is not as appealing as the photo suggests. The property is really a couple of rooms above a garage with a twin room down some stairs. To cap it all, we used the tray of tea/coffee/crisps (which in most properties would be complementary) and received a message saying we would be charged if we didnt replace them.
