About this house rental
Barroco is a private room within Casa Lotto, a beautiful, newly renovated old house five streets from Mérida Zocalo. The room lives up to its name, it is decorated in a unique, elegant style and with many very nice details. It has its own private bathroom and a king size bed.
The space
Baroque is one of four private rooms of Casa Lotto, the other three rooms are called Kahlo, Amate and Talavera.
The house also has two studios, Jade Maya and Ixchel.
Depending on availability, the entire house or rooms can be rented separately.
The kitchen is fully equipped and features a washer and dryer.
The terrace of the house is beautiful, as it has a dining area and a living room with a very pleasant view of the pool and garden.
Guest access
Guests can make use of common spaces (kitchen, living room, swimming pool, terrace, laundry and drying center).
Other things to note
In our space we welcome everyone, regardless of ethnicity, sex, age or sexual orientation. We value what makes us unique and unites us as human beings.
Important: For the safety of the place and everyone, we'll ask the booker for official identification.
Parking: Most of the houses in the Center of Merida do not have parking, as they have a very old design. However, on the way back there is a private car park where you can park without a problem (50 MXN per day).
Cleanliness: In order to keep your space clean and energized, stays longer than 7 days will be cleaned (every seventh day) and 130 MXN will be charged in cash.
Climate: Merida has a hot and very humid climate, so it is very easy to find insects and although the house is constantly fumigated there is always the possibility of finding some.

The accommodations were tidy enough. Ample household necessities like drinking water & cookware were provided, could have used a few more towels or have them replaced at some point. Host &/or manager was not responsive to requests in a timely manner. This might have been due to the nature of the requests (early check-in/late check-out), which is somewhat understandable. But a no is still a response that would provide clarity rather than ignoring the issue.
