We chose this accommodation for its proximity to the historic centre (about a 10 minute walk) and the route of annual Palio Historical Procession down Corso Gioveccia (at the end of the street). All the main attractions are within easy walking distance and there are plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The apartment is a beautiful historic palazzo in a quiet and secluded area. It has very large spaces, antique furniture, stunning highly decorated wooden coffered ceilings, is well furnished, spotlessly clean and was very comfortable. The small balcony overlooking the garden setting was a quiet, cool and pleasant retreat from the heat in the late afternoon (and perfect for a pre dinner drink). Enrico and his wife Alessandra are kind and generous hosts, always available, flexible, and truly friendly. It would be a pleasure to return in the future.
Nothing major- only a larger expresso maker and some softer pillows would have been good.
