The rental process was easy and quick. The property was outstanding. We only had two of us so there was plenty of room.
We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. The appliances are really good. The oven preheated quickly, and the stove has a griddle for pancakes. The refrigerator sounds a tone if you leave a door open even sightly. The ice maker works well. We even got a chance to use the grill once.
The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of drawer and closet space.
We enjoyed watching TV in the basement and ate many of our meals there. The floor heating system worked well though it was a little hard to get it set just right.
We enjoyed the small stream behind the house and the woods.
The East Burke area was fun and had what we needed. We were conveniently located for day trips to Canada, the White and Green Mountains, even a long day to the Maine coast.
Amy, the owner, was available by email or text whenever we needed her, though there was little need for help.
And don't miss Auntie Dee Dee's Cinnamon rolls on weekends. Oh my goodness they are great!

This house was exactly what we needed for our long stay in East Burke, VT. Very comfortable and functional home. Enjoyed it immensely.

Amy wrote that one could hear the babble of the brook that runs in the backyard of her property and fall asleep while listening to it at night (from the rear bedroom). NOT TRUE!!!!
Her back yard goes down hill, slightly steep-ish and one needs to be careful. The brook is maybe over 50 feet away and it is down deep in the earth. You do not see it, can barely hear it.
Her home is beautiful and comfortable. I loved the light, feeling of space, incredible views! Best neighbors in the world too. Wonderful dogs: Millie, Leo, Fox and Kia (barker).
Loved being here. Now that I am back in NYC and REALIZE how UGLY it is, I am planning on moving near my family in Michigan. I have honed in on Ysplianti Michigan. To be continued........
