Divinity Villas - Uluwatu, Bali

The villa was so beautiful, and very clean. The views were stunning. The girls in reception were very nice and helpful. Only a few minutes on a bike to Uluwatu. We will definitely be returning here if we come back to the area.

There were dogs barking throughout the night which was very loud. Also one dog sounded like he was in a lot of pain which was not nice to listen too. But other than that, it was perfect.

Spacious and clean, both inside and outside. The pool was lovely and the bed extremely comfortable.

Small things were problematic - sliding doors very difficult to operate and lock. The interior stairs need a hand rail - very steep and hard concrete. Basic kitchen facilities are provided but no shopping within kilometres. Staff were very friendly but not particularly knowledgeable. Had no idea where we could get breakfast/ coffee/ provisions. We found a delightful cafe 500 metres away which we went to everyday day. The biggest issue for us was the remoteness, like most things in Bali they look close by on a map but circuitous roads and heavy traffic make walking impossible and driving very slow.

Amazing view, comfortable, and stylish and clean, and helpfully stocked mini bar and French press coffee. Restaurants would deliver, and staff was helpful. Private pool clean and inviting.

Front door could only be shut with a bolt, so you couldn’t step outside without locking someone out or in. Sliding glass door to pool couldn’t be shut well from outside. Gaps in walls for bugs but they weren’t much problem. It was peaceful because remote, but probably best if you rent a scooter.

The panoramic view is breathtaking directly from the bed. The room is certainly a couple’s honeymooner perfect place with the tub just right infront of the bed with the same view to the uluwatu ocean side.

We were unfortunate because it was raining and the wind was horribly howling. The water was leaking infront of the panaromic window. We couldn’t sleep as the sound of the wind was frightening.
