Coorg -Kunji Phad River View Homestay

very nice hosts AND THE delicious food they served us.

Kunji phad river view homestay is an excellent stay in a quiet and calm environment. As a solo tourist I enjoy this place. Room was clean and common areas are also very nice . Whole homestay is surrounded by coffee plantation. Owners are very friendly and serves a good and tasty meal . They even help me to search local transport for sightseeing.

A mirror is required in the bedroom.

If you are looking for a nature’s getaway, then you would love this. Its truly in the lap of nature. This is not like the curated, manicured lawns in a resort. This is the real deal until you allow it to soak you up. You are met with greenery all four sides, tall creaking trees, mist that turn into water and trickle as you walk, silence for company. The nights are even richer with cicadas, crickets and friends all having a party of their own and none will bother you. Mr Kishan and Mrs Asha spared no effort to ensure my stay was beautiful- clean rooms, home cooked meals, endless chats, was all worth my time.

The Cauvery flows by, but there is no bank where you can sit.. or maybe the water was shallow when i went. I was looking to spend some time near the river but We needed to go to a different spot.

Location ,cleanliness and behaviour of the host was quite commendable.
