They charged me $800 for a deposit on the property without my permission! Booking.com states $300, they took $500 and said that every accommodation is different, then they ignored my message and charged the original $300. I had an $800 hold on my card, one a completely unauthorised transaction. It’s obvious they now have my card details and can just charge here and there whenever they want and whatever amount. DO NOT BOOK! For the price, you are provided with cheapest travel size amenities. Don’t expect anything more than 2 tiny shampoo, 2 tiny body wash, 2 conditioner around 10ml. Also, the outside is in serious need of major work. It’s covered in moss and mould on the decking, needs urgent landscaping weeds, decking needs replacing. Completely filthy and unusable. If booking over the weekend, be prepared to have people late at night drunk and all early hours outside your bedroom windows as that’s where they park their cars. House is dark. Photos have been edited to make it appear lighter than it is. There is no central heating or air conditioning. Rooms are provided with oil heaters, so kitchen and bathrooms are freezing unless you take the heaters from one room into those areas. If it’s an extremely hot day, please note there will not be air conditioning in any of the rooms except the main lounge only. No carpark. Road parking only. Steep stairs to go down into house and up, so if you have suitcases or are not able bodied keep this in mind. Overall would not recommend. The communication was highly disappointing considering the incorrect transactions on my card, ignoring messages, and saying I had to wait until the cleaning had been done and a house report to release. Do yourself a favour and book a hotel instead
