I could definitely use some more maintenance, but overall, it was OK.
I get that Cancun as a Taurus spot, but they charged you for the water and the sweet bread.

My room was large and very clean. The mattress is
Extra firm which I like. They allowed me to stay a few hours past check out for not too much money. Sitting by the pool was pleasant. I saw two monkeys in the trees, big lizards and beautiful birds in the jungle like area while lying in a comfortable hammock.
There is a lot of noise from the highway so bring ear plugs. There is a delicious and very reasonable taqueria in front of the hotel but it closes at 5, so be prepared with snacks.

I liked that the staff was friendly and they helped me with the transportation back to the airport
I couldn't sleep well because there were bugs on the bed and the AC was not properly working so the room was so hot it was hard to fall asleep. I also did not get the breakfast, even though it was included on my stay, the cafteria looked closed
