There is a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower, plus an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining and seating area. Outside, there is an enclosed patio garden and off-road parking. Shipswheel Cottage is an idyllic base for a rural retreat in North Yorkshire. Note - this property can only accept bookings for a minimum of 3 nights.

Head to the picturesque harbour and lighthouse to watch the sun set, or get involved in some whale watching or a coastal cruise. Climb the famous 199 steps to the Whitby Abbey to immerse yourself with history, or visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum presenting historical and ethnographic exhibition about Cook himself.
