Hotel Las Monjas

I loved the trees in the courtyard, that the A/C in the room worked well, the plunge pool, and being able to walk to the main square. It’s hard to find wheelchair accessible rooms in Mexico beyond the bland chain hotels. This “accessible” room had space for me to access the bed, which was a good height.

Since mosquitoes congregated right at the entrance to our room (which is outside in the courtyard) I suggest doing something to dissuade them. I put insect repellent essential oils on the door frame and that solved the problem.. The toilet wasn’t easily wheelchair accessible, being too close to the bathroom sink, and transferring to the built-in tiled shower bench was tricky, so be ready to improvise.

Cleanliness, drinking water, comfy bed, elevator, pool, fair price, spacious, bathroom.

No fridge, no ice.

The water wasn’t hot, we stay there to had a hot bath 😒
