Our young family home is our piece of paradise in a family friendly old grove street. A charming red brick with high ceilings & loads of character. We’d love it to be your home while you relax & unwind on your coastal holiday with your family or share the huge space with another.
The spacious floor plan boasts 4 bedrooms (kids in a separate wing) plus a separate multi functional retreat for play / TV / sleeping. 2 bathrooms & 2 living rooms at opposite ends.
It’s the perfect setting to unwind after a day filled with endless possibilities at your doorstep:
- Beach, a casual 15 min walk (Wedge St)
- Main shopping strip (coffee, homewares, fashion & eateries) 15 min walk
- Supermarkets (Coles & Woolies) both 15 min walk

- Oversized family lounge (smart TV with Netflix) & dining zone (10 seater) overlooked by kitchen with split system heating & cooling. Dining table used as working from home or study space
- Multi-use playroom with toys, games, smart TV (Netflix), Nintendo & DVD player with DVDs in addition to a double futon sofa bed for 1 person or 2 small children

Guests will have access to the entire property except the garage & a couple of locked cupboards we have our personal belongings in.

Minimum 5 night stay.
We have a preference to rent our home to families as the space & bedrooms are designed for this.
Pets permitted on request. Pls msg regarding type of pet.
Please confirm on booking that you have read & agree to house rules below:
Email first & surnames of all adult guests including ages & driver licence numbers
No schoolies.
NO parties.
No smoking inside.
Please respect our neighbour friends by turning music & noise down from 10pm. We adore our neighbours & want to look after them.
If your stay includes a Sunday night, please take the bins out & bring them back in.
Please strip the bedding before checking out & leave it in the bath.
Please confirm at time of booking whether you require trundle bed/s & futon to be made up for sleeping.

This year our family decided to experience Christmas differently and Ocean Grove was our location of choice.
From the moment I sent the initial inquiry to arriving back home the communication from Heidi was exceptional.
Walking into the kitchen we were greeted with the most spectacular hamper of local goodies and treats ready to switch into relaxation mode.
Our kids, 4 & 7 had everything they needed, each room was set up for them with the most fabulous variety of toys, books, and costumes. Our 4-year-old loved changing between Dorothy, Elsa, Iron Man and so many more.
Wandering out the back door onto the deck the fun continues for all ages. While we sat on the outdoor furniture with BBQ and drinks fridge an arms length away, the kids moved between the trampoline, climbing frame, and cubbyhouse.
Our Groodle Emmett was also loving life with his daily walk to the local coffee caravan and surrounding streets.
Overall the house was clean and tidy, with great appliances, a variety of kitchenware, and lots of space to accommodate us all. Heidi and her family even set up the Chrismas tree for us near the fireplace so Santa could easily find us.
This beautiful home is perfect for families who are looking to escape to a beautiful part of the world into a welcoming home away from home.

Order bread for pickup from Ket Baker *Sour dough specialist. Our faves, Croissants (almond and normal) Fruit and table loaves yum. they also have a little coffee window if you are lucky enough to be there when it's open.

Heidi came to the rescue after another property cancelled last minute. She was an excellent communicator and prepared the house beautifully with a local food hamper to greet us and a selection of toys ready for the kids to play with. The house is very spacious and clean with a great outdoor deck and play area for kids. We were able to walk to a nearby park and the shops and cafes were a short drive away. The kitchen had plenty of utensils etc if you decide to cook. Quiet neighbourhood at nighttime too. Thanks Heidi for all of your efforts to make our Easter holiday memorable.

We had a wonderful time at Heidi’s property and I would have to say she has been nothing but great from the beginning. She has been so accommodating and helpful the whole time. Heidi is very thorough in her communication and paid attention to our needs as we had younger kids, she thought about entertainment and toys for younger kids. My daughter age 3 has enjoyed herself so much playing in the house that she hardly wants to leave. Heidi has also gone through a lot of trouble to provide us tips on the area and places to eat. I am still thinking of the pork belly I had at Flying Brick Cider. :)
The rental itself is very welcoming for our 2 families , total of 10 guests( one toddler). All the rooms are comfortable, clean and neat. The facilities and amenities provided is more than I had seen in other rentals. There are plenty of pantry items which really helped us with meal times. Heidi even went all the way to provide us a welcome hamper which was delightful. The rental has rooms which are very well segregated, there are multiple living areas which serves as play area or quiet time during our stay. The outdoor area is very well lay out and our families enjoyed our meals and coffee watching the kids play on the trampoline and on the outdoor play set. My daughter absolutely enjoyed the little cubby house.
I will recommend this place anytime and thanks for making our stay so memorable.

Heidi & Tim's home has a nice feel about it. It is spacious, comfortable and well fitted out with mod cons and easily catered for our family of 5 adults and 4 young children for the week after Christmas.
It’s in a quiet neighbourhood close enough to town and the beach for a quick car ride or pleasant walk and we were very happy with the location.
Heidi is lovely to deal with and made sure our needs were catered for, especially where the children were concerned with plenty of games, toys and outside activities provided. We were welcomed with a generous hamper of local goodies and there were plenty of extra bits & pieces provided in case you were caught short. We were given the local intel on things to do and see and importantly, the best places to eat and drink.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and don’t hesitate to recommend their home to any family looking for a well catered for, relaxing beachside holiday.
