As per the description, this a whole house to yourself. One of those wee houses you see all over the place in Japan: Two storeys, a little kitchen and bath area downstairs, with a tatami-floored bedroom area upstairs. The hosts - an older couple who live a couple of houses away - were lovely. The gent speaks English well and was eager to talk. Felt a bit guilty waking them in the moirning to hand over the keys as I mosied on.

The house was nice enough. The only drawback was it that it was a touch further from Shin-Onsen than I'd have liked. There is nothing in Moroyose, and the little road the house is on does not give you a view of the sea. That photo you can see is from a road a little further along.

ホストの人が親切だった。フランス語も話せた。家族での滞在でゆっくりできた。近くに魚屋や漁港があり、自分達で新鮮な魚を料理して食べることが出来た。

Moroyose is a beautiful little village by the sea. It is right around the corner of the Uradome coast and Tottori. There are a lot of beautiful beaches around and the train takes you everywhere. The house was perfect for 3 people but will also accomodate more. There is enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The house offers everything you will need and is a great starting point for exploring the area. The owner also showed us his house which is 140 years old and full of history. We were honored to be given a tour! The owner was also very kind to offer us a ride to a big super market in the neighbouring town Hamasaka and he took us to the onsen town of Yumura. It was an exceptional experience! We made great memories.
