Not very much this stay

Room assigned was a mess and had been used. Not been cleaned. Moved to another room (Had to find one myself)- had no duvet or towel in it. Could not get in touch with owner that night. Had all rooms been taken up I would have been forced to stay in a messy room someone had already slept in. Very Poor first night. Had to find and use a single duvet on double bed. DEFINITELY NOT WHAT I PAID FOR. No compensation was offered when I mentioned this. Below are pics of the room I was given initially.

I got rashes all over me from the bed which is probably infested with some kind of bed bug.

What kind of host keeps infested towels and sheets for guests?

Booked for twin room, double bed and recliner chair,no bedding for and only 1double towel. Quilt very badly stained. Kitchen filthy. I also have very bad bed bug bites (cost me £20 at chemist for lotions to help sever itchy bites

This was a scam. I got my money back thanks to Booking.com. When I got there to check in. 2 guys from Paris was on the phone to the hotel owner. I can over hear they been waiting for 3 hrs outside. Owner was trying to scam them asking for more money and was threatening them. Then I called him to let him know that I’ve arrived and I need the PIN code to get in. He said there’s no pin come that I have to wait over a 1hr for him. Then state to threaten that he’s going to hang up if I don’t listen to what he says. He hang up the phone anyway. I had to book another room. Booking.com refunded the money. Don’t book this place. Big scam

Place look horrible from outside. There’s other people who work for the owner try to scam me by asking to book another hotel. Saying it’s the sister hotel cross the road. I just left the place.

Ok the pros for this property , really comfy bed , it was clean and tidy . For some reason the directions , how to get in etc did not get through to my app so the guy who was there helped us to get our digital key etc. The property was in a good location

I think it was very expensive for what you got . we had a double room with an en suite shower room and paid £198.00 I really do not think it was worth that amount of money . there are 4 rooms in the property we had the very top room, no dressing table to get ready , no wardrobe , a couple of hangers on the back of the door.

One room was like a furnace even with the little fan given. Was so hot, none of us could not sleep much They are not a room where a sofa bed really should be put in with the double bed. Literally no space to move or put anything in the room The shower heat in one room could not be changed and only thing you got burnt your skin

Nothing property was dirty , and maggot ridden

Property was maggot ridden , extremely dirty , smelly and carpets were extremely dirty and stained . Bed was not made from past lodger , wet towels still on bed and half drank drink next to bed . Bedroom door was hanging off hinges and could not shut . Toilet was brown stained and unflushed from last lodger . The owner was next to impossible to contact with issues, and extremely rude and uncared about dealing with these things . My son couldn’t stay at house due to these things and a good few more major reasons , house isn’t suitable or fit for living accommodation and unsafe to stay in with faulty appliances

Nobody to greet me on arrival

To be absolutely honest, there wasn't really much that I did like about the property. The room sizes was adequate for a single person or a couple, so it may have been ok if I had just been travelling with my wife. The shared kitchen area, with kettle and microwave was useful. The rooms did seem clean. There are some decent restaurants nearby.

My wife and I travelled with my elderly mum, so I specifically asked for rooms close together. When the premises owner said they were unable to meet my request, I figured that maybe the rooms were at least on the same floor. My mum was fortunately put on the ground floor but we were put on the second floor, so it was a major hassle to move two floors between the two rooms. In my mum's room, the shower was either too hot or too cold. In our room, the shower didn't even work - the temperature knob was broken, so we only got too hot water, and the shower cable was not fitted properly so water was coming from both ends. No staff were on the premises. When I rang the owner to tell them about shower, he kept insisting that that everything had been checked that morning and found to be working. We had checked in around 5pm. So somehow between the morning check and our late afternoon check-in, the shower broke in an empty room. The owner only said that he would pop in the next day some time, after implying that the damage had been caused by us, which did not create a good impression at all. There was no wardrobe in the room, so we were unable to unpack. The photos of the rooms suggested that the rooms were quite spacy and that there was enough room for a travel cot. In reality, the rooms were tiny, with just enough room for one double sized bed and one arm chair. No room for a travel cot. The kitchen was useful but when my wife opened the oven, she found the oven trays had not been cleaned. This immediately raised questions as to whether the rest of place was clean. On the whole, I would say to avoid this place like the plague. There is a Travel Lodge within walking distance that is better value.

I had a very good sleep there, room is fine. I didn't find toilet brush but I was happy with everything else. 😊 I'll go back yet this year maybe soon.

Nothing I can think of

Although the room said it could sleep 3, I think that unless there was a child in the party it would be a bit of a squeeze. The room was clean, bed and pillows were comfy, shower was a good size and the pressure and temperature was good, it was warm. I was on the top floor at the back of the building so it was nice and quite to say its on a busy main road. The kitchen is situated on the ground floor and has everything you could need.
