About this cabin rental
Enjoy the charms of one of the 1000 Islands of your very own, with all of the
convenience of land access! Park your vehicle (room for up to 2 cars) on the
adjoining peninsula, and with a short walk across a recently renovated
footbridge you are suddenly transported to your own private island.
Chippewa Bay is renowned for having some of the best fishing in the region.
The relatively calmer waters of the bay make it the perfect place for all of
your favorite on-the-water activities from kayaking to water skiing. Or simply
enjoy kicking back in a hammock and watching the breathtaking sunsets
overlooking the main shipping channel. An outdoor fire pit is available on the
shore with stunning views of the bay.
A dock is available to tie up your boat or other water toys. The Chippewa Bay
public boat ramp is conveniently located just around the corner. If paddle
boats are more your speed a canoe and kayak are available for guest use.
This small rustic cottage sits in a perfect location to enjoy everything the
1000 Islands has to offer, conveniently located only 15 minutes from
Alexandria Bay and is a prime jumping off point to access all of the treasures
of the region.
This cottage has:
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with sleeping for up to 5 people. Large bedroom has a
queen bed and a twin daybed. Small bedroom has a full sized bed. Living room
has a full sized futon.
Just across the footbridge is the "main" house, our larger log cabin on its
own private peninsula. If a larger home with more modern amenities better
suits your needs it may be the perfect choice. Or rent both together for a
spacious compound to enjoy with friends and family.
Pet Policy: Up to 2 dogs permitted with pet fee of $50 per dog and completion
of Pet Waiver. No cats allowed.
Parking is on the adjacent property. Access the island by walking over a
footbridge.
Pet Friendly. $50 per week fee applies.

This is the second time we visited the property and we already miss the cottage. The weather didnt cooperate this time around but we still had a blast fishing in the rain and exploring the area. They upgraded the dock which though unnecessary was outstanding. Cant wait to come.back again!

What a WINNER !!
We were thrilled when we arrived and found this place was better than we expected.
The cabin was PERFECT for us.
Great location
Right on the water away from hustle and bustle but close to shopping and such in Alex Bay.

Our family had a great time at the cabin. It was great for swimming and fishing off the dock. Its very peaceful, and has nice, shaded outside area for eating and lounging. This section of the river also doesn't get as much boat traffic. Highly recommend!
