Cozy clean restored farmhouse in gorgeous country setting 4 miles to downtown WF

This super special rental on 20 acres is only a couple gorgeous miles outside of downtown Whitefish. It is truly Centrally located in between Columbia Falls and Whitefish for all your needs. The property is breathtaking and aligned with a privacy fence, flowers, bee houses, bird houses, a newly planted orchard and many trees. It is also gated for safety.
This well-kept partially remodeled and restored farmhouse has quite the history! The reclaimed barnwood accents and new ceiling are from a 1920s pig barn we dismantled over quarantine. This little farm house was built as the second step to replace the original homesteaders cabin nearby in which the owner resides with Achilles, the wonder pig!
An extra living space and bathroom was added on to the farmhouse in the 70’s to replace the outhouse. Just this year, we have replaced all the windows and most of the floors. We freshly painted the entire home and upgraded some appliances. Some of the original hardwood flooring remains and is really beautiful to see. We left some of the original doors which are really precious and authentic. It keeps the integrity.
Come hike in Haskill basin. Come to Glacier. Visit Whitefish. Your in the middle of it all on this property. Your in the heart of the gateway to Glacier national Park, Whitefish Lake, shopping, both downtowns, skiing, and more! Stunning views. Cozy living. It is quiet outside of town. Wake up and take a walk in the field to enjoy the most glorious views around in our valley in the northwestern corner of Montana. This property is rich with history and our home reflects this.
There is only one bathroom and it is not large but the water pressure is fantastic and it is clean and comfortable.
There is no dishwasher or laundry facility.
There is a large flatscreen TV with streaming and excellent WiFi/internet.
Feel free to talk to Alexa and ask her to play your favorite tunes. She’s in the living room on the coffee table under the tv.
The linens are old fashioned and sweet. Of course there are extra clean linens and towels.
Fully stocked kitchen.
Three beds are Tempur-pedic and the other two are high-end mattresses. They are all extremely comfortable and protected.
The water pressure is fantastic.
Sorry, NO pets as there are free range chickens, rabbits, one mini pig, a tiny dog, and cats on the property. This is not remote or private from neighbor and is close to Dillon road, an old farm road.
