Exquisite Sky Surfer is top-of-the-line! This is a top-floor, south-corner condo with panoramic water views! The waterfront living area has upscale resort rosewood and leather furniture, surround sound, and vaulted ceilings. Enjoy nightly sunsets through huge 10' sliders. The long private furnished sound front corner deck has a private hot tub. Sky Surfer is simply breathtaking! The flooring is a warm wood laminate with tile accents. The open kitchen has stainless appliances, soapstone counters, and a breakfast bar that is great for entertaining and meals! BR1 is a king master with a tiled shower. BR2 is a queen master with deck access and a tile shower. BR3 is a large king master with a huge south window and a tiled bath with a large Jacuzzi tub. Queen sleep sofa in the living room.
Guests can harness the power of the equipment and instructors of the onsite Kitty Hawks Kites store for the vacation of a lifetime. Waves Village Resort is full service - onsite staff, onsite Good Winds Restaurant & Bar, surf shop, coffee shop, and onsite ropes course. Fun and activities for all ages! Amenities include an outdoor pool & sundeck, outdoor shower, onsite kiteboarding/ watersports, air pumps, and gear storage w/board racks. Elevator access, Washer/Dryer, Beds Made. Pet friendly ($150 fee). Wi-Fi. The fireplace pictured is not a working fireplace.
Balcony grills are being phased out. If a grill breaks, it will not be replaced. Propane is not provided and is the responsibility of the guest.

Nice place. A bit more worn than pics reflect. Needs a deep cleaning under furniture, in cupboards, and all vertical surfaces.

The corner unit, on the top floor, provided a quiet and private location for the holiday. There was ample room for the six of us, and our dog, in the three-BR condo. I especially liked the balcony and the view - not having to look at other condos or houses. Peaceful to have only the water view.

The view is gorgeous- spacious corner unit with a view of the kite surfers and sunsets and the calm water of the sound. Super easy walk to the beach across the street. In case you are't familiar with the area, this condo sits in a more secluded/non-crowded area of the OBX. This means you won't have the restaurant options of other more populated areas (like Duck, for example) but the options that are there (many that are within walking distance) are quite good. Pizza, coffee shops, and some great seafood options too.
Unfortunately, the condo itself had some maintenance issues that resulted in us cutting our stay a day short. That said, both the owners and the property management company were incredibly responsive to us and took every step to make it right. If First in Fight rentals is managing your property, rest assured you'll be in good hands.
