This 4 BR/2.5 BA semi-oceanfront, pet friendly home has been completely renovated in 2018. 2-tier deck with ocean & sound views. Steps to the beach with great surfing & fishing. Enjoy this classic beach cottage with a modern flair. The interior has been completely remodeled, all new floors, bathrooms and kitchen. Custom tile work, ship lap and architectural beams, 16ft ceilings in the living room.
Enjoy the ocean and sound views from the top deck or take the minute walk to enjoy the beach! Inspired and designed from all your favorite TV shows, boutique hotels, etc.; please make yourself at home in this classic beach cottage with a modern flair. All your towels and bedding are supplied to allow you to just show up and start your vacation.
Enjoy your meals from the farm table with seating for 10 while looking out toward the ocean. The modern kitchen with butcher block counter-tops and a farm sink are ready for your culinary creations. The kitchen is fully equipped for the best of chefs.
Each room has a flat screen TV and is designed to maximize your senses to the ocean. Enjoy some of the best fishing in the Outer Banks as the Rodanthe pier is just 2 minutes away with direct access from our back yard. No fishing license is required on the pier.
This classic beach cottage has plenty of space for the whole family. The bedrooms include: Master: King bed and private bath; Bedroom 2: King; Bedroom 3: Queen & Bedroom 4: Full. Bath towel and bed linens (sheets and a quilt) are provided. The sheets & quilts are washed and dried after every visit. Each bedroom is equipped with darkening blinds in case you need a little extra rest.
This property is located on a semi ocean front lot and across the street from our other houses - Aloha & Aloha Too. This offers the unique opportunity for a multifamily vacation in separate homes right next door. Mahalo House was a wonderful home for the 4 of us to stay in, so close to the beach; and you can see the ocean from the sun room - so pretty. We used the 2 bedrooms with King size beds, there are two others with double beds. One King size BR has an ensuite and a small televsion, the other uses the hallway bath and has a larger TV. Both bathrooms are clean and updtaed. The kitchen is fully prepared for anything and everything, truly a chef's kitchen. We loved the large sun room, had all of our meals there, played games there, and lounged in the two comfy chairs while reading. The deck in front of the house is great, but the upstairs deck is awewome, with beautiful views of the pier, beach, and ocean. In the afternoon there is shade, so the 4 chairs were well used when we were there. There were beach chairs under the house, and a cart with beach wheels so taking all of our stuff to the beach was a snap. We left a couple of umbrellas there for those who come after us. We really hope to come back and stay in this beautiful, well set up, home again.

The house was great, as advertised and with easy beach access. The family really appreciated the bonus beach chairs, cart and beach toys that were available for use as well!
