Cozy Beach Cottage just steps to a small quiet beach and public boat ramp.

Was a amazing place to stay at. Wish we could have stayed linger as the property was very nice and relaxing

The property was one of, if not the best property we ever rented of VRBO. We had a great time on the water, and the house was clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend, and would book again!

The property was easy to find and conveniently located for the purposes of our visit to the area. We arrived to find the property cleaned and well organized with sufficient utensils etc. The fresh decoration was appealing. However, for our needs, we made a poor choice given the layout and difficult to navigate stairwell. The challenges were such that overall our visit was unpleasant and we regretted our choice soon after arrival. My wife has Parkinson's disease and although she is able to use stairs in out residence, the rise on the portion of the staircase not visible in any interior photographs of the property was sufficiently greater than at our home such that it was very difficult and excessively challenging for her to use. In addition, the stairwell warning to "duck", although perhaps cute in a quirky older home, was the first indication that a person of average height might want to exercise caution, especially in darkness, when moving up or down the stairs. I have to wonder if the local building codes permit such a substantial stair rise and such minimal head clearance. It strikes me as dangerous and particularly if illness or injury required professional assistance to carry someone out of a second floor bedroom. The VRBO descriptions of the property offer no disclosures regarding the stairs or stairwell and didn't otherwise suggest that persons with mobility challenges might not be appropriate tenants/occupants. We cut our visit short by several days. I contacted the owner to advise her of our decision to vacate before our scheduled contract date but did not inform her of the specific difficulties we were having. We certainly recognize our responsibility to make wise choices given my wife's health challenges but frankly it never occurred to us that second floor access could be so difficult; that the stair rise would be appropriate for giants and the stairwell designed for little people.
