Very quaint cottage. Each bedroom has an en suit bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Enclosed courtyard for pets. Lovely outdoor area for braaing & eating.
Was very hot & humid so could have done with celing fans in the rooms.

Loved the hot tub/ splash pool. We didn’t even make it hot most of the time as the weather was so hot. Was lovely just to soak in the cool water. Such easy beach access. Love Langezandt.
It’s quite close to the main gate to Langezandt so every vehicle to the estate drives past, but really not an issue. It’s still private.

Collecting keys was fine...we had trouble with the front door latch that didn't unlock and we got locked out when going to the vehicle...luckily we were able to access via the back door that we had unlocked when we arrived. The Annex door lock was also problematic.
The standard of cleaning...the plates had some yellow residue on it and pots had some dirt on the bottom and lids. Also the house was full of cobwebs and spiders. My daughters got bitten and myself by spiders (large and smaller ones) we then drove to Bredasdorp to get insecticide for rooms and insects repellent to spray on ourselves especially at night. I recommend that they fumigate the house when we returned the keys at UStay.
House has amazing potential but it really needs urgent maintenance (cracked floors; broken bath handles in main bathroom; windows stays broken or not working; rusted curtain rails which made opening curtains tedious) as initially stated lovely house but maintenance and cleaning let's it down.
