Upstays - Incredible View -4 - Big Terrace - AC

The flat has a very large balcony with a lovely view of the sea (including the sound of the waves). The flat itself has been beautifully renovated, has a comfortable bed, plenty of cupboard space and a well-equipped kitchen. Its proximity to the beach is a major advantage (which makes up for a lot, particularly the noise from the road and trains). The residential complex itself is also lovely and quiet, well-maintained and not overrun with tourists. The underground car park is also a major plus.

There’s little to criticise. The noise from traffic and trains is a bit of a nuisance. The outdoor furniture on the balcony could be more comfortable. For example, there aren’t enough sun loungers for at least three people, or an outdoor sofa.

The location of the apartment near the sea was great. Also the view from the large balcony directly on the bay of Cannes. The equipment of the apartment was very nice, appliances, air conditioning, sun protection etc. were available. Furthermore, the apartment was very nicely renovated. The area itself was not crowded and quiet. The house manager in the foyer was very friendly. The parking garage was well sized for our car and not too tight. All in all a very nice stay.

There is not much to criticize. Another deck chair on the balcony would have been ideal and a bit more cutlery in the kitchen. Unfortunately there was also no detergent for the washing machine and no tabs for the dishwasher. The ventilation in the WC should be checked (volume). A second apartment key would be very convenient.

-great views of Cannes and magnificent views of the Mediteranean Sea -close to beaches (nice beaches, not crowded) --separate shower & toilet -non-smoking, no ashtrays laying around (great for non-smokers, no smell of cigarette) -nice couch -funtional and relatively new kitchen with adequate plates/utensils and cookwares

-imcompentent staff of IMMOGROOM  -unable to take showers the first night due to clogging in the drainage.  It didn't get fixed until almost mid-day the next day, after making numerous calls and demands that had to be fixed. (Here is a response from one of the staff from Immogroom, regarding to my shower request. I said that you either fix the shower or give us another apartment. I can't stay 8 days here without a shower. Her response was, ''This is not a hotel.'') -picking up the key was not an easy task also.  Had to  pick up the key at the agency, which is located in the center of Cannes.  If you're not familiar with Cannes, you can be driving around forever. -a deposit of €700 two weeks before arrival -noisy, trains run every hour in addition to other movable objects such as buses, motocycles, trams, lawn mower, the city trims trees and plants at night until 11 pm -old washing machine--door hard to close (a dryer would be nice to dry the towels) -small bedroom with a queen sized bed, headboard perpendicular to the door (so when you sleep, you're facing the door = bad fungshui) -loud fan in the toilet -no sink in the toilet  -no magazines/brochures about Cannes in the apartment -no dim lights, 1 towel hook -will never book an apartment with an agency, where I have to pick up the keys miles away  -no checklist, when we arrived, to check off defects in the apartment.  Took pictures of them and notified the agency proactively instead -If I ever visit Cannes again, I would not consider Immogroom and this apartment.
