Villa Surga - Heavenly 4BR Private Pool Retreat in Ubud

Property is beautiful, all the rooms are spacious, clean and very modern. The kids loved the pool and the outdoor/indoor kitchen and living room area is brilliant to watch them in the pool. There are a couple of restaurants and cafes near by which were lovely to walk to

There are no interconnecting rooms, which for many wouldn’t be a problem, but with kids just meant we had to think about the right sleeping arrangement.

Design and position

The welcome team were great and friendly Pool was big and main highlight of villa Good location just out of town and only 5-10 min via car Local workers are friendly in the rice fields in front of the villa

All the bedrooms have sliding double doors that do not seal and flimsy that have big gaps and can only be locked internally with a key (not very safe for kids if emergency). Gaps allow noise & bugs to get in and out. The Fridge died on us during out stay and we had to throw out all out food that was spoiled. Pool was not very clean lots of bits floating in the water. Down a very small pathway - don't arrive at night in car Had lots of people / rice workers & locals walking past the front of the villa during the day constantly - The lack of privacy and concern for access to the villa from anyone ment we kept everything locked away. Had 3 kids with us so had to stay alert
