Quaint Appalachian Getaway ~ 2 Mi to Boone!

The house had everything we needed and good amenities for kitchen wear and had towels and sheets

The grass was high and spider webs by front door ( i am afraid of spiders )

This is our 3rd stay here and we like the layout, proximity to Boone. We like the decor and all that comes with the property.

This time there was no toilet paper and the tub was clogged, the water was very very slow draining.

The location was perfect for our family stay!

The shower did not drain properly.

The house was newly remodeled on the inside. Very nice furniture in each room. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed. Each bedroom had an electric fire place that helped because the temperature got down to 25 degrees one night.

The outside of the property had construction debris all in the yard, shingles, insulation, old wood and even the old kitchen sink. Apparently their was an issue with the septic tank because after we took our showers, the ground had water puddling. They needed a water softener for the house because the water smelled like rotten eggs. The bathroom had a pedestal sink that was not attached to the wall and could be dangerous for small children. The road in front of the house had lots of traffic that was very loud in the mornings when you were trying to sleep.
