The host gave quick answers to any questions, and was polite and informative. The location was superb, a supermarket just round the corner, 5 minutes walk to the harbour, with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. 25 minutes drive to Alnwick Castle, 15 minutes to Bamburgh Castle and 35 minutes to Lindisfarne and Holy Island.(Across the causeway)
The apartment was clean and spacious, with a lovely outdoor area, which gets the morning sun. It also has all the facilities you need if you are staying in and cooking yourself.
There is onsite parking, which I would say maybe tricky to get out of it all the spots were full, as you will have to reverse out on to the road. But no major problem.
There was nothing about the apartment and area I didn't like.

Gorgeous little place, everything we needed for our stay. Have already recommended it to friends.
There were a few little areas that needed more attention when the apartment was cleaned, e.g. around the mirror in the bathroom and the previous guests had put dirty pots back on the shelf, it's a shame that they did this, might be worth adding "check pots" to the cleaning list.

Good location
Only 2 cups, 2 plates, 2 bowls etc., no dishwasher so lots of washing up! Lino in hallway badly laid and a trip hazard! Blind in bedroom thick with dust and mould spots! Extractor in kitchen covered in months of dust. Apartment in need of a deep clean (see photos)
