Absolutely fantastic home away from home

A perfect home away from home, everything had been thought of. House was cleaned to a high standard, beautiful white fluffy towels provided and plentiful, also crisp white bedding in all the beds Fantastic location for visiting the surrounding areas This is our 1st time of home rental, and wow, I hope when we do it again it will match the standard of Hazonleigh. We would definitely book again if we stay in the area

There are X3 dogs in the next door property which can be heard barking, however not overly problematic Our only criticism for us, is that we found the double bed to low (we are both tall and not particularly in our youth 😂

Nice cottage but neighbours kennels ruined my great get away

The cottage is fantastic, is close to the local shops, walkable to SeaHouses beach, had all the needed devices to cook and clean for a good family vacation. It's nice and warm with a good WiFi signal.

The one thing that let this down and made me leave early was the neighbours dogs/kennels... Every morning, without fail, I was awoken by a number of dogs barking and howling, not only once, but every other hour... 0200, 0400, 0600, 0800... I had no unbroken sleep for 4 nights running... It woke me and my dog up every time...

Lovely clean home with great facility - would recommend

Lovely property - very clean - showers were great - location close to village - all facilities you could need

Noise from dogs next door - not in control of the holiday property owners but woken at 6 to 6.30 each morning - the dogs howled and barked but only for a few minutes but then we were awake - wouldn't put us off going again though as such a lovely place

Location is superb for exploring Northumberland. Everything from the house to town center is two minutes away. House was exceptional in every detail. Very clean, warm and comfortable.

Minor detail, dogs next door howl and bark every morning very early. This wouldn't put us off returning and highly recommended as a vaction rental.

enjoyable but for the howling dogs

it was clean. it had virtually everything we needed. it was close to shops and the beach. having two bathrooms.

the howling dogs be t door. especially at 3 am. not having a very bright light over the dining table. apparently the single beds were very uncomfortable on the twin room.

Exceptional

A definite home from home. Nothing lacking. Everything clean. Plenty of space for a family or 2 couples or a few friends together. Great kitchen diner social space.

Bed linen was a bit worn. Dogs next door occasionally noisy which startled us the first time we heard them. Our dog barked back anyway and the neighbour was friendly when we met him. Very small 'didn't likes' to be honest which didn't spoil the stay.

I would highly recommend this property for people to stay

The house was extremely clean and comfortable. It was like being at home. Well equipped and close to all amenities.

We weren’t advised to take our own bedding and towels. That would of been nice to know
