The staff and location

Lack of English when I asked to clean the floor they didn’t understand and I asked 2 times but nothing happened :/

I recently stayed at The Home of Istanbul for five nights. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good bedding and a large TV. The location is convenient, and the presence of a helpful concierge and an elevator made my stay easier, especially after surgery.

However, there were several significant issues that impacted my experience. The apartment was poorly stocked for a two-bedroom, five-night stay: only two rolls of toilet paper were provided, and basic kitchen items were missing, such as proper glasses and cups, and essential condiments like salt and pepper. The fridge was broken (though the freezer worked), and I was not informed in advance. Heating was also not functioning, and I had to request a second portable heater. Lighting was harsh and unwelcoming, as there were no lamps, only overhead lights. I also could not mirror devices to the TV, and no HDMI cables were available. Breakfast was not included, which was disappointing compared to my previous stay. Overall, the apartment is fine and comfortable, and I would consider staying here again. However, small, inexpensive improvements—such as providing lamps, better kitchen supplies, sufficient toilet paper, and basic condiments—would make a huge difference. The current setup felt less like a home and more like a bare rental.

The location and apartment were spacious and the bathroom as well.

It was tiring going up and down from Taksim Square.

The location is good near Taksim square The receptionist girl in the morning was amazing and helpful The girl with hijab at the breakfast room was so helpful and kind.

Location of the hotel is downhill good for young people, I was with mom she has trouble getting up and down everytime we want to go out, I have a baby too wuth a stroller it was tiring for me to go up and down with her. Breakfast: Always fresh but basic, if u come late the main dishes are run out, we like to eat eggs and our baby likes too, so everytime we go to breakfast room we should ask them to make us boiled eggs. N.b u should pay for omelet around 3 dollars for the dish. Cleaning: when we got into the room we saw piece of earning on the ground. our baby likes to eat chocolate and biscuits , we always put a sign to clean our room, they clean the bathroom and tide the bedrooms, but the carpet and the ground were not clean , we saw our baby biscuits on the ground everyday. Soap , shower gel and hair conditioners bottles run out during our stay, the refill it only after we asked them to do Air conditioning: when we got to Istanbul the weather in the morning was cold then it started to warm up, at the night after a tourist round we got to our room and it was so hot, we turned on Air conditioning but it was only heating up the room, we asked the receptionist guy to help us , his answer was to open the window because the Air conditioning was systemized to heat, I told him I cant open the window because there is nothing over it to prevent flies, he insisted that I didnt understand him the he started to explain me with simple English, I didnt listem to him and got back to the room and open the window because I cant bear hot room. Water , coffee , tea: when we got to the room , coffe tea and 6 bottles if water were there, if used them all they will not refill it. Safe case: got error the first time I used it , so the receptionist come and help me fix it.
