Great house for us to crash at while climbing at the ice park. Great kitchen, sitting area, and beds. We were also impressed with the property manager that came and fixed an issue within an hour of us reaching out. Great job, Hunter!

Stayed a few days for the Wine and Music Festival. Fit our needs perfectly. All the amenities of home. Great to come back to and relax, after music and other excursions. Leaves were popping nicely.

The location of the cabin was great. It was comfortable and clean. There was an issue with the lock and we locked ourselves out. Hunter and the owner both responded quickly and it was resolved immediately. Lake City has some great restaurants and the Alpine Loop is very close to town with easy access. We had a wonderful time .

Property was clean. Close to town. Roomy. Pros: plenty of towels, bedding, and shampoo,conditioner, body wash, soap every where was well stocked. Basic coffee maker is supplied. Pancake griddle was nice to have. Queen bed was comfortable. Cons: No toaster. No tea kettle. No salt. More fans in the rooms, a ceiling fan in the bedrooms would be great. It gets hot during the day in July. More utensils such as wooden spoons or silicone spatulas to not scrape the non stick pans. More toilet paper needed.

There are some cleaning issues that need to be address and maintenance. We didn’t realize it was right on the Main Street fairly loud. The main parts of the house were as pictured and pretty nice. Bedrooms could use some help.

There was only two of us so it was adequately sized. It was quiet. It is right on the highway which we would have preferred not to be. It was not thoroughly cleaned. There was thin dust on and under all surfaces. The propane grilled has burned out sections on the burners making it difficult to cook the food properly. It had an undersized flat screen TV with Apple TV on it. You had to buy or rent everything on it including TV shows. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The drain in the shower was not properly installed and was painful if you stepped on it. It could be a cutting hazard. It had a beautiful front porch but had only two uncomfortable canvas camping chairs on it. We would have have spent much more time on the porch if it had had comfortable seating. We enjoyed our stay but would have enjoyed much more.

The house was a great place to stay, easy access, well kept. They only issue was you have to have your own streaming to watch tv service (whuch is not a big deal for us as I thankfully have DirectTV and have iPad). Need to have a larger TV, pretty small. Nothing that causes a bad review by any means, just something to improve on! Would stay again!

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. The location was great and we loved the fireplace with plenty of firewood. A bigger tv would be nice and it had a washer but we couldn’t find a dryer. But overall 5 stars.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Fire pit in the backyard was awesome. Solid WiFi- which was important for work and kiddos. Good communication when there was an issue- owners were awesome and took care of it right away! The home stays warm on chilly fall nights and cool during the day. Perfect for our family as we have allergies and asthma, so we appreciate a clean pet free space. Our only suggestions are patio furniture on the front deck and a house/visitor manual for the house. There is a shared driveway which is used when the detached garage is rented- plenty of space and still private. We will be back again!

Great little cabin in Lake City, with a great location - short distance to town, you can walk to local shops, restaurants, the park, etc. The cabin is clean, comfortable and peaceful. Even with it's location on the main street, it was very quiet. Thank you Paul for sharing your cabin with us. Our time in Lake City was adventurous, fun filled, simply amazing. We look forward to next year's visit .

Convenient location to explore Lake City

Our first visit to Lake City was fun, relaxing and full of activity. This cottage is located right on the main street of LC but with a speed limit of 25mph, was never too loud. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had a very well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was small but towels were thick, basic soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided. The washer & dryer worked well and bedding was comfortable. We especially appreciated the 4 fleece throw blankets that the hosts provided! We intended to do more cooking but found too many tasty restaurants in LC - definitely check out Silver Slice Pizza and Southern Vittels! Directly across the street from the cottage is High Altitude Adventures and we rented a 4 person RZR and did the full Alpine Loop plus a couple side trips to see some incredible restored mining camps. Fourth of July celebration and fireworks were lovely! Most everything in LC is walkable from this cottage & my boys had fun skipping rocks on the river which was just 2 minutes away.

This was a last minute find for us- and we were happy with it. One room had bunk beds(2 sets) and the other either a full or queen. Only thing that would have made it better would have been if one of the bunks had been full size on the bottom or if couch had been a pull out bed. It had seating in back around a fire pit, and a great front porch( just needed some chairs for the front porch). Great location in Lake City!
