Such a magical spot and so historic. My husband and I had a great short break here. Make sure you go to the Mule Barn Tavern and get some Ice cream at McFlys after you take a tour of the oldest lighthouse in the country. Can’t wait to go back in the fall.

The old officer quarters on Sandy Hook was unique and in many ways picturesque being on Sandy Hook. House was nice, but tight. Tough only having one bathroom. Easy to get to and a very good spot for biking and swimming in the bay.
