This property had a great setup but was very poorly cleaned to make it off-putting. When we called the rental company, they DID send the cleaning crew back out but they only came with a spray bottle, wrag, and swiffer. Not a single bed was swept under nor dresser inspected. Our family spent over $100 on cleaning supllies to wipe things down and clean the floors before anyone felt comfortable for the week. Here were things we found upon arrival: the counters were sticky, the floors were dirty, bath mats were still wet from previous renters, an apple core was found on a dresser, intimate clothing was found in another, recreational drug remnants in another, old coffee was still in the pot, the blender hadn't been cleaned, a couple bed frames were broken, one bed had a stain (thought to be blood) with no mattress pad to cover it, the pool had wrappers and other trash along the bottom (and wasnt cleaned until Wednesday despite being called everyday), and one of the bathrooms had gnats that kept filling the toilet. It had to flushed BEFORE use to clear the bugs. The pool and deck area were a great place to relax but laying in the chairs along the edges was met with biting ants. We certainly don't want to come across as Karens... we did have a nice week being together as family at the beach, but the cleanliness of this rental was far short of expectations for what was paid.
