Chalet for 12–14 people at the foot of the slopes in the Valmeinier village resort (Valloire)

Charming village house of about 200 m2 located in Valmeinier 1500 (in the heart of the hamlet of Ville Dessus).
Access to the slopes at 50 m (King chairlift for access to Valmeinier 1800 and Armera chairlift for access to Valloire.)
Access to hiking trails from the house.
2 sports shops (ski rental), a mini-market (open all year round) and a restaurant in Valmeinier 1500 (Village – 5 min walk.)
Tourist office, ski pass and ESF ticket office in Valmeinier 1500 5 min walk.
In the summer, tennis court in Valmeinier 1500 and sports field (basketball).
All shops at the 1800 station 10 minutes away by car or free shuttle bus (30-45 minutes walk); Shops open when the resort is open, winter and summer.
Medical office in winter in Valmeinier 1800 (in summer in Valloire 8 km away).

The house is composed of:
- 1 bedroom with a 160 cm bed
- 1 bedroom with 2 beds 90 cm
- a large bedroom/dormitory in the attic with 2 double beds, a single bed and 2 extra beds in the lower part of the attic (in this room box springs + mattresses placed on the floor)
- 1 bedroom with 140 sqm bed
- a cabin with bunk bed 2 people downstairs + 1 person upstairs (separation from the other rooms by a curtain)
- a large living/dining room of 45 m2 with fireplace
- a small living room of 15m2
- a 20m2 kitchen with dining area
- a bathroom
- 2 shower rooms, one with WC
- a bathroom with WC
- 2 separate toilets
- an entrance hall with ski storage
- a heated room with ski boot storage
- a garden terrace of 40m2 with a view of the whole valley.

An "annex" part of the house (a bedroom, a bathroom, a cabin and the pingpong room and WC) is connected to the main house by a low ceiling staircase/passageway (less than 180 cms). This part of the house is also accessible from the outside exit (3 steps outside).

At your disposal: board games, some children's toys, books, charcoal barbecue, raclette set, fondue (electric), fireplace, wood, garden table, deckchairs, parasol, tennis rackets, basketball.

The only part of the house that cannot be used is the kitchen in the annex part.
The kitchen of the main house is amply and sufficiently equipped for 12-14 people.

Unfortunately the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, due to the rather steep stairs inside the house, the stairs to access the house and the pedestrian path and steep enough to reach the house from the parking lot (about 75 m).
No child protection on the fairly steep stairs. No accessible bedroom without stairs, and no toilet or bathroom in the living room.
Parking for your car 75 m from the house, the rest of the way is on foot.

You can come without a car, there is a mini-market accessible on foot (5 min, downhill on the way out, up on the way back!) and open all year round, in winter shuttles from the station of Saint Michel de Maurienne, and in summer shuttles on some days and taxi the rest of the time.

This house is our family second home.
We are not professional renters, our house is comfortable, well equipped and decorated to our taste. We hope that you will like it and feel good, despite the small imperfections that you may find, inevitable in a family home. Do not hesitate to send us your comments and suggestions.

At the end of your stay, we ask you:
- Empty and dispose of all garbage cans
- Clean and tidy the kitchen and all dishes - Empty the dishwasher
- Empty the fridge completely
- Leave the bathroom, toilet and kitchen and other rooms in a condition acceptable to the person who will be cleaning
- Undo the sheets and put them on the table as well as the towels
