About this house rental
Our house, Les Claveaux, is close to Cognac - quietly nestled in the vines whilst close to many family-friendly activities including swimming, horseback riding and canoeing. You’ll love my place because of the light, the vistas, the sense of space and privacy and if you are there in the summer - of course the pool. My place is good for families (with kids) and big groups.
I have retained the sense of heritage (or patrimoine) to reflect the original character of an 1850 Cognac Maison de Maitre while making sure all modern amenities are available to you.
The space
The sense of space and freedom is amazing. The house faces directly on to rolling vineyards so the vista from each window is wonderful. The sense of spaciousness continues into the house - when you enter you are greeted by a large entryway with an original charentaise spiral staircase.
Guest access
Guests are allowed to use the house as their own. Certain barn doors in the courtyard are locked for safety but the the courtyard and pool are all yours.

Beside that the house was quite dirty when we arrived we had a great stay! The swimming pool, terrace and garden are wonderfull! The house itself is quite old and noisy, but it's OK when you don't expect too much. The neighborhood is very calm and peacefull. We enjoyed our family vacation here!

A simply perfect home away from home and great start for our new life in France. The owner & property managers were so very accommodating and always helpful. We could not have asked for a better property or location and very sad to leave! I highly recommend this property to anyone as it simply offers everything you could wish for. In short - Fabulous!!!
