This house was perfect for our vacation! There was plenty of room for all of us. Being on the lake and close to the ocean was ideal. We loved the deck especially in the evening when there was a nice breeze every evening. Location was great with easy access to everything and less traffic on the west end of the beach. We fished the lake and caught several bass! Owner was great about communicating and check in and out was seamless. We will definitely stay again!

I stayed at Serenity By Jan for the month of February 2023. It was my home away from home and I loved every second at this property. Cassie, the property owner, was amazing. She was so responsive, communicative and attentive. The property was exactly as pictured. It is tastefully decorated and it's extremely cozy with the stone fireplace. I used the electric fireplace every night. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I've ever had on a vacation. It had everything I needed and more, from a George Foreman Grill, to a Magic Bullet to make my daily smoothies, as well as a couple of options for making coffee. Being by myself, I especially loved the Keurig. I also enjoyed having the toaster oven, as well as the large oven, so I could quickly reheat my left overs. The view from the back of the house was one of my most favorite things about staying here. I loved having the lake view and being able to see the gulf in the distance. I also loved that I could hear the waves, when sitting on the deck. The outside deck is just incredible. I loved the swing, loved sitting at the table journaling, and loved taking my yoga mat outside on the deck and doing yoga in the morning with such a pretty water view. I enjoyed, watching Pelicans, Cranes, turtles in the lake, ducks and listening to the Bull Frogs at night. The walk to the beach was super easy, with the trail that sits near the house. It's about a 5 minute walk. For me, the location was ideal with the proximity to the ocean and and everything else I needed during my stay. My only comment about the location is that the house is located in a cul-de-sac, with some older houses that could use some TLC. I was not bothered by this because this rental property was so lovely, the view from the back was so relaxing and once you get to the path/trail, a one minute walk, there are many beautiful houses and new ones being constructed. The beach was simply gorgeous, large and so quiet. The sunsets at the beach were breathtaking. One of my favorite things about the house are all the windows. The back of the house faces South. I enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets, so I didn't always have to go to the beach to enjoy. My sweet doggie, and I loved the fenced back yard and the dock on the lake. We sat out on the dock a lot. I hated to leave this cozy, beautiful lake house. I could go on and on about all the things I enjoyed about staying here, but I'm running out of characters. I highly recommend staying here.

Enjoyed the deck and sitting on the swing with a cup of coffee and hanging out with the gang. Easy walk to beach and perfect location for various things to do.....Enjoyed meeting the neighbors as well, great people!
