Bathroom tiles looked like about to fall, shower pressure low

Its location
Bed was so uncomfortable, property says noise should be avoided after 9pm until 9 am and not even the staff follows that rule.

The Polanco area is nice and hotel is well positioned.
The staff behaved unprofessionally by knocking on our door around 1AM to request additional check-in documents. This made us feel unsafe, and I would not recommend anyone staying at this property. In fact, we decided to leave a night earlier than planned and checked into another hotel because we did not feel safe at Singular.

The location
First of all… the place is not what you see in the photos. Not even close. Whoever took those pictures deserves an award for “Best Use of Wide Angle Lenses to Sell a Closet as a Suite.”
The room is way smaller than advertised. We got a “double bed,” which apparently means you get enough space to stand on exactly one side because the bed is glued to the wall like a permanent fixture. Charming.
There’s one tiny desk, barely wider than the broken chair they generously provided. We had to drag the chair out to the balcony every time we wanted to move inside the room. Yes, the “suite” required furniture relocation just to exist inside it.
Now, the bathroom. Tiny doesn’t even cover it. I honestly don’t know how anyone taller than 5’8” survives. My knees touched the wall every time I sat down—intimate, but not in the fun way. The shower head? Filthy, rusty, and probably older than the building. Tiles cracked, falling apart, water spraying in every direction except where it should. The entire room floods, so enjoy your slip-and-slide every morning. The sink is also giving up on life. And the towel hook? It’s a booby trap. Touch it wrong and the metal piece will drop right onto your toes. Luxury!
The TV deserves its own paragraph. My iPad—the normal one, not even a Pro—has a bigger screen. And it’s mounted so high up the wall that watching it from the bed is basically a neck workout. So forget movies unless you enjoy discomfort.
The opposite wall is made of glass with access to a balcony. Sounds nice, right? No. As soon as the sun hits at 7 AM, the room becomes a sauna, and the ancient fan they provide is basically a decorative antique. The alternative is opening the balcony door, but since the balcony is shared, you get to enjoy your neighbors’ cigarette smoke drifting into your face. And if nobody’s smoking? Don’t worry—there’s a lovely sewer stench that blows in at night. A full menu of aromas. Hydrate.
Service? We were given one towel. One.

Not one thing

The location is excellent—close to the main points of interest I wanted to visit during my trip to Mexico.
The room overall was disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room was extremely cold. I also didn’t feel safe because of the windows—most guests carry important documents, and it seems risky to rely on those windows for security.
Additionally, the check-in process was frustrating. I called multiple times upon arrival and still had to wait a long time before being assisted.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

Nothing.
The room looked nothing like the photos. It had a strong mold smell, flies inside, and the balcony door didn’t lock, which made us feel unsafe. Completely disappointing.

Just the location
The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Everything else was a letdown. The room was dirty upon arrival, with visible dust and stains. There were no towels, no shampoo, and no basic toiletries. I requested towels from the front desk and they only brought one — for a double room.
The bed felt like a rock — incredibly uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. On top of that, the facilities are poorly maintained and neglected. It’s clear that no real effort is being made to ensure guest comfort or cleanliness.
This hotel is a terrible choice overall. Definitely not worth the price, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

We came right at check-in time and no one was at the front desk. We rang the bell several times until we called the number for Sr. Daniel and we heard the phone ring in one of the rooms on the first floor. He didn’t come out, two other women from idk where came instead. One of them tried to stall us from checking in because they weren’t done cleaning. They also spoke to themselves and said they didn’t mop the floors (thinking we didn’t understand Spanish). There was no daily room service. Our screen door was removed so it made it difficult to avoid mosquitoes while trying not to get heat stroke. The floors made our socks dirty. There was an exposed nail in our night stand. The sink and shower drains were clogged. The shower head was caked with black gunk. 3 soap dispensers, only 2 were filled but it was the same soap as the hand washing soap.
Positives? A fan was provided, the location is nice, you get what you pay for.

The only good thing was the location
This was by far an awful experience
-The room was pretty hot, 4th floor. Not possible to be there even 1 hour. My LapTop & Cel phone did not work inside due to the hot environment.
-The tv does not work, no sound
-I requested a fan, and they do not provided to me (the room next to mine had a fan)
-Elevator was broken and they do not help to get the baggage to the room
-Room was dirty at my check in, the rain came into the room. There were hair in the bedroom and a lot of ants.
-Very bad breakfast and they do not get the breakfast tray with the dirty plates in the whole day, even I requested twice (imagine the smell inside when I arrived at night)
-This is not a Hotel, it is a hostel poorly managed by 2 people working and living there without customer service experience
-Check in is so late and even though they do not have the room ready
-They do not receive neither any delivery nor pharmacy
-It was a nightmare the 3 days staying there

We stay at an amazing apartment, pretty big and with everything you could need. Its really clean, spacious and near to supermarkets so you can cook.
The only thing i didn't like is that is pretty far from Subway, also there aren't restaurants or pubs near, just a few places some blocks aways but not really a lot of choices.

I found a (half-smoked) cigarette under my bed. I would recommend that they better look under beds and clean hidden parts as well.

I booked it solely for the location. It is just a very short walk to IMN Mexican Immigration. I had to get up in the middle of the night to wait in line so for that, location was as good as you can get. There is also Antara shopping complex very near and it has a whole level of eating establishments. The area is Polanco which is considered one of the best areas of CDMX.
The place is 3 or 4 levels of small no a/c budget rooms. There are, I think, 3 price categories. Since it wasnt clear in the description I took the least expensive. It turned out to be right against the only common area and dining area which could get noisy. There is also a big dryer about 6-7 meters away that seems to run almost all the time. The room gets hot and noisy. The bathrooms are shared. That was OK as the place was not VERY full. Had I known the more expensive rooms were less noisy I would have booked one. I realize noise is a cultural thing. Some cultures are bothered by noise, and some have lived with it all their life they dont even comprehend what your talking about! I prepaid NON REFUNDABLE 5 nights as I did not know how long it would take me at Mexican Immigration. Fortunately I got it all done the first day, so I left and got another place where I was able to sleep very well.
