A great place to unwind and eat well.

A very warm welcome was provided by the attentive staff and we loved the old building and fine gardens. Our dog was right at home here and made friends with the owner’s dog, Patch. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed, view over the garden and a good shower. We ate a delicious meal in the restaurant and enjoyed a tasty breakfast too. This was an overnight stopover on our way south and it provided an excellent start to our French holiday. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it.

This is a charming hotel with a really nice owner/chef. Wonderful surroundings and well kept rooms and restaurant. the food was outstanding. Very relaxing indeed.

A lovely spot with quirky large comfortable rooms. Great pool. we didn’t get to eat dinner there which was a shame as it looked good. Book in advance if you want to eat when you get there.

Exceptional

This is a beautiful peaceful and relaxed place. With my teenage daughter and Golden retriever we felt at ease and very lucky to have found such a quietly tasteful and lovely place.

A real find

This is a small mill house on a small river in a small village just outside of Houdan, handy for the N12 and the railway line to Paris. This was a really good 'find'. The accommodation is excellent and there is a gourmet restaurant which we sampled. The cooking s superb. Astonishingly the place seems to be run by one person who does all the gourmet cooking, and one waitress. There is a large garden and a swimming pool. We were visiting family and location was perfect

Fabulous!

Great reception from the host and his dog and lovely room. The host is a chef so we had a fabulous dinner. Make sure to book as it is very popular with locals. Would have loved to venture into Houdan but didn’t have the time as this was a one night stop off for us.

A great short stopover where we could have happily stayed for longer.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious en suite bedroom. Superb dinner on the terrace, with excellent advice on wine. Lovely dog part of the staff - always a bonus for us. All in all a very enjoyable stopover on our journey further south. Could happily have stayed longer.

Fantastic stay

Only one hour from Paris, this location is wonderful. The owner is very kind and makes delicious food. The pool is heated as well and our dog really enjoyed running around the large yard. It was perfect to sleep listening to the wonderful outside.

Lieu dépaysant, gastronome et accessible en transports depuis Paris

Nous sommes allées passer deux jours au Moulin pour notre séminaire de travail et c'était une expérience très très agréable : l'endroit est tres bien desservi par les transports en commun depuis Paris, le jardin et la piscine sont paradisiaques et les bords de la Vesgre permettent de charmantes ballades. Nous avons pu travaillé dans l'espace partagé qui est très grand et lumineux. Les chambres sont spacieuses et une donne sur le jardin et le magnifique camélia. Enfin, la cerise sur le gateau : les repas ! Cuisine divine. Les petits déjeuners sont incroyablement bons (œufs a la coque, fraises, etc) et les plats sont variés et, très raffinés !

Nous avons utilisé nos connexions partagées wifi de nos telephones, un accès wifi serait un petit plus appréciable.

Prachtige locatie

Gelegen niet ver van de snelweg, maar toch ongelooflijk rustig, wat deze b&b een goede locatie maakt als tussenstop naar het zuiden. Op sommige dagen kan je avondeten reserveren. Wij waren er op een dag dat ze dicht waren en kregen een restaurantje getipt in het dorp... heerlijk gegeten! We vermoeden dat de eigenaar zelf ook goed kan koken, want hij was al met de voorbereidingen bezig voor de volgende dag en het rook al heerlijk. Mooie, ruime kamer. Doordat het een oud pand is, heb je wat krakende vloeren en trappen, maar die charme namen we er graag bij.

Tijdens het ontbijt waren we wat aan ons lot overgelaten. We zaten in een aparte ruimte die daarvoor voorzien is. Hoewel alles er was wat nodig is, vonden we het toch beperkt. Het 'zacht' gekookt eitje stond al klaar (onder een mutsje), maar was nog rauw. Jammer. We moeten zelf onze koffie maken en water koken voor de thee.

Moment de détente totale!

Le gîte est très bien placé, la propriété est verdoyante , fleurie et très bien entretenue. La piscine est superbe avec une eau juste comme il faut! Le petit déjeuner un délice et copieux. Tout était parfait, l'hôte est très sympathique. Un petit moment apaisant dans un bel endroit où le chant des oiseaux m'a bercée au bord de la piscine. Je recommande vivement!
