Casa Catalina

This was a very spacious, spotlessly clean, and extremely well-equipped apartment, about a 15-minute walk from Europa-Park. We were only two guests, but with three bedrooms, a living room, a separate kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet, the apartment could easily accommodate six or seven people, or perhaps even more. The kitchen is very well equipped, with an oven, a large fridge, a large freezer, and even a dishwasher, with a generous supply of dishwasher tablets provided. There is also a huge balcony and a very cozy living room with a dining area. The bathroom is spacious, and both the shower and the towels are of very good quality. What impressed me most was the cleanliness. Despite the large size of the apartment, it was exceptionally clean, with no trace of dust or dirt anywhere. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and I hope we will have the opportunity to visit again.

As this is an attic apartment, it became quite hot one night. There is one single air-conditioning unit in the living room, but we could not find the remote control anywhere. The TV remote also did not work very well, possibly because the batteries were running low. A few details, such as the table on the balcony, show some signs of wear, which stands out slightly against the otherwise fresh and recently refurbished feel of the apartment. Communication with the host improved during our stay, although initially they kept writing in German, and at one point the host also emphasized — with exclamation marks — that my booking was for two guests. I may have misinterpreted the tone, but it came across as somewhat accusatory, as though there was concern that we might be bringing additional unregistered guests.

Good location near to Europapark. Lots of space. Very nice bathroom.

A previous guest had broken some of the beds so some were not useable but the host came up with other options, which was good

Ruim appartement in een rustige straat. Van alle gemakken voorzien, zeer proper en zowel Rulantica en Europapark op wandelafstand. Heel fijn was de airco tijdens de hittegolf. Aanrader!
